A VPN has been enabled on most of the new laptops. This features allows access to files & folders from your company laptop regardless of location and without any additional steps. If you have WiFi it is automatically connected.

I use the VPN and it works well to access files/folders remotely.

I have used it and it is too slow to use.

I don't have it or didn't know about it and would like to use this.

I use specific programs that can only be run from my desktop or require high-performance connections to the server, this won't help me. I need Spalshtop or AMTerm.

How is the VPN working for you?

The VPN works well, I am able to access files/folders remotely when needed.
